The Spark Forward Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit. Our mission is to give teenagers (13+) everywhere the free cloud hosting, mentorship, and community they need to take the software they build on their own computers all the way to the live internet — at no cost, from first line of code to real users.
Learning to code is the easy part. Shipping is the part nobody built for kids.

You can pick up programming on a phone, for free, over a weekend. What's still hard is everything that comes after: getting the thing you made onto the real internet, where a friend in another state can actually open the link.
Real hosting assumes there's a company behind you. It wants a credit card. It buries the first win under regions and billing alarms. So a lot of kids build something they're proud of, hit that wall, and stop. Not for lack of talent — because nobody built the next step with them in mind. That's the gap The Spark Forward Foundation exists to close, and because we're a nonprofit, donations and grants — not fees — keep it free.

You build it. We pay for it and put it online. People actually see it.
Workspaces and starter projects to begin with. Hosting, custom domains, databases and SSL once it's real — run and paid for by the Foundation, so cost is never the reason a project stays on a laptop. Then a peer community and volunteer mentors, because sharing what you built shouldn't be the loneliest step.
Free because it's charity — not a free tier with a catch.
If you're a teenager building a project — a website, a small app, a database — the Foundation covers the hosting start to finish, paid for by donations and grants. There's no paid tier and nothing to buy, because we're a nonprofit, not a company.
Underneath that promise is a credits system, and we'd rather show it than hide it. Credits are just how we keep cloud usage fair for everyone. They're a meter, not a currency you buy.

- Every teen account gets a standing monthly allotment, granted automatically. You don't apply, and you don't pay.
- They refresh every month
- Your allotment resets at the start of each month, and a normal project stays comfortably inside it.
- Topping up is never money
- There's no way to buy credits, because we don't charge for anything. If a project outgrows the allotment, we work with you to keep it running instead of cutting you off.
